Are you interested in ice fishing? There are lots of lakes you can drive your truck onto and spend your afternoon with a warm fire and catching some delicious fish.
Take the kids tobogganing! The snow is amazing and you can pretty much toboggan in your back yard....or your neighbors if you've used up your snow building snowmen already.

If you prefer, there are several free natural hot springs that we like to frequent. Bring your tea lights and spend an evening relaxing in the moonlight.
The bavarian town of Kimberly is only 20 minutes away and is full of great European treasures including one of the oldest buildings in Canada. A 500 year old house brought over from Germany and converted into one of the most amazing restaurants we have ever been to!
Banff shopping and the beautiful park are only a couple hours away and can easily be done on a day trip.
Don't miss out on some great snowmobiling! You can take a nice easy ride down some trails or go off the beaten path for more thrills.
